I took 1 lead of the coil to see min pressure which was correct. When I replaced the lead it didnt go back to 6mbar, just sat at minimum When I check the resistance of the coil with the leads connected, I get OL. With leads disconnected, I get a high resistance reading across coil.

whys that? Im not getting 6mbar, im only getting 1.6 mbar

indeed!!! i cant even eliminate the dhw h/e until i can get the pressures correct. Think ill have to get ignition pcb and gas valve just in case

Trouble is I cant change any of the pressures because its just staying at the minimum

well not really because I can fix boilers all day, just not cookers and plumbing problems, and I dont feel they will allow me the time to learn how to either. Good post though

ive just feel that BG has come too soon for me. I've never done plumbing, never had to fix cookers and im getting these jobs everyday and im struggling. Ive been fine with the boiler breakdowns so just want to concentrate on fixing boilers to be honest. How about Transco?

DOnt think theres much the union can do, they've said that BG havent even consulted them on this You say im on a public regsiter, but my name isnt, only my company name, which they dont have any record of. It is also at a different address, will this help?

started with BG about 6 weeks ago and last week I recieved a letter from the union saying that BG are going to ask engineers to give up their personal corgi registrations. How do they go about finding out if I have my own corgi and how can I prevent them from finding out? Thanks
