Well the guarantee is actually provided by the trader who does the work same as it is with any other job so it would come back to you unless signed as a temporary repair. What I mean is the customer knows they have that bg back up for 12 months.

That's why I quite like working through local heroes, it's commission of each job and customer gets all your business details and they get a 12 month guarantee with bg that can't disappear. There just isn't enough work there yet. They don't do reviews at all. I've found Facebook totally useless...

Not sure I follow what you've done but the hive receiver fits straight onto the LP711 backplate I think with the same connections and you remove the thermostat wires from the boiler pcb and fit a link onto the board connections for the stat.

It's a hive without the wireless capability, setting instructions for hive are the same.

The originals with the grey fascia are notoriously bad pcbs, the early greenstar versions usually water pressure or pcbs but either way get it properly looked at as pcb faults on the 24i junior can cause massive additional problems
