    You shouldn't really have to sand new plaster at all if done properly. Sometimes though you may come across the odd blemish or two.     Hello again gregers,, I have been golfing a lot lately I have been doing really well/the best in a long long time!! I went round the full 18 7 times last week and we've done 14 nine holes in 3 weeks!! On the full 18s I got 99 98 and 98 all the others were 98!!! :D how have you been doing? :)

    I wouldn't go down the plasterboard patch route, but i'd go for render, i'd also leave it for a plasterer to do the job. He'd probably go down the render/multifiish route, or even hardwall/multifinish.

    You could buy or make some corner shelves! It wouldnt hide it all but it would look better and hide a little bit of the pipe. Good luck! :)

    I would buy a paint primer from your local diy shop! A suitable paint primer for your job. The staff in shop will show you what you need. Pva should never be used as a paint primer! Good luck!! :)
