Those plastic things are a bit knackered now as I pushed them in but I got it out. Tested with two probes on two small holes on back, can't get to without taking solenoid out the old solenoid showed nothing the new one 5. Showers now working. Thxs

You mean meter reading? It showed that permanent 1 when I put the probes in both places. It didn't show anything except one the whole time. Order new solenoid?

Isolated the unit, pulled the Isolated the unit and pulled out the blue and black wire then put the two probes into both where the the wires are and where they came out- nothing (no reading). Have the probes been put in the right place? I'll order new solenoid from mira I guess. Meter...

Ok will do, as someone pointed out the probes are just on outside metal of solenoid, ill putvthem on terminals I understand put multimeter on right setting.

Think 2 years has expired. The electric is isolated when I tested for resistance.

Have I checked solenoid with correct setting on multimeter? I did it with electricity off. The resistance check the numbers went up then down to 0 quickly but i pressed hold quickly and got 55.3. And correct setting for voltage and placing of probes for that?
