Turned out to be an ill fitting hose leaking and shorting the motor after we'd had a new kitchen installed!! Thanks for all the suggestions anyway I've learned a bit!

all taps kitchen, bathroom nasin and bath

I live in a block of flats and my water pressure seems non existant. When I first turn on tap it starts to come out fairly rapid and then within seconds is just a dribble. My neighbours have said that they have no problems except a slight reduction in water flow. Mine has almost stopped. Any ideas?

I have just moved into a property and want 5 lever mortice locks on the external door. There are 2 locks currently on it and I don't want to replcae if they are already 5 lever , so....How can I tell if I have 3 or 5 lever mortice locks already?

Only going by the fact it had a small sticker over the 20Amp sign that said boiler and vent! It's a small flat and it was only that and the vent that wasn't working. I currently have 15A fuse and boiler works (vent/fan still doesn't).

Thanks John, I'll change the 15a for 5a and if that blows call in some profession help! Just one more thing - why would they (presumably previous electrician) have a fuse with just the boiler and fan on? Is that standard (UK) practice?
