    Hi all, we live in a 1927 semi and are thinking of having CWI. Would this be a good idea since the cavity is closed with a row of bricks at the apex of the roof-line?

    i'm draining my open vented c h system to add new rads. when work is complete i need to add inhibitor to the system but my expansion tank also acts as the cold water feed to bathroom (shower/bath). would it be safe to add the inhibitor to the tank or should i put it into one of the rads?

    hi all,i'm putting a velux window in a small, lean-to, pitch roof, of which the span is 2200mm so i'm using 100mm depth rafters (according to building regs is fine for such a small span). will 100mm rafters be sufficient for the velux?
