    OK. ..not physically turned off....but the original utility company who installed it has turned off the readings element as they no longer will be using it....so its just a blank screen now when looking at it.

    Hi,no I did not mean to lead you into thinking I would turn off the power ...but the now "turned off" Smart Meter shows No readings just blank screen....so to get to the actual readings now I have pressed an arrow (on the Smart Meter ) and it shows the actual readings

    So I guess from all this chat then....the company disconnects the smart meter (turns it off) and I press a button or arrow ( on the now turned off Smart meter )to display the current readings .....cheers

    Thank you for the reply/replies....having now looked into things a bit more I have found that where the black circle/hole (see pic) there should be a clock/dial BUT that has been removed and apparently replaced with a remote control system (again see pics please)....there is nowhere to set...
