Yes because the boiler cant operate if the condense backs up!

Believe it or not i have had 8 calls today and all were worcesters!!! I had chance to attend to 5 which were all frozen condese pipes the other 3 i have advised them what to do, two have phoned back to thank me hope your's is ok tomorrow. Two of the boilers were piped up in 35mm as well :?

Check where the condense pipe comes out of the house and pour boiling water over it, it may well have froze!

must say it's nearly always been the pressure sensor which is at fault on these.

have you checked the o/h stat and pressure sensor for continuity!

Not keen on the worcester, I quite like the baxi's and they are easy to work on, also vaillant are very good.

Check the timeclock is on and the room stat is turned up.

The pipestat is usually linked in with the frost stat. When the frost stat brings the boiler on (frost protection) the pipes will get warm then the pipestat will turn off the boiler so as not to be running all the time, only there for protection!

The frost stat could well be working correctly but there is no pipestat to turn boiler off.
