Hi guys ...i just had a boiler health check done by homserve to see if they will cover my vsillant combi boiler..they guy checked it out and said its working fine...however he said the plug needs to be connected to a 3A fused spur...by the socket ...see pic..he said the present plug has a 13A...

I can understand first bsttery being bad as it lasted a week in April.. replace it with a different one at thst time and has lasted over 8 months ...until now so if something was draining the bsttety would have done ages ago..not now..cud be intermittent fault somewhere or maybe this bsttery is...

Battery gone flat again...car been parked up 3 days, was starting up normally prior to that..looks like another duff battery...need to find receipt for replacement

I'm afraid so...wasn't very had to change pcb board....anyway I managed to change dsn but boilers locked me out get this now..

Its this one 831 eco tech plus 2..now it should automatically adjust the parameters cos I only changed the main pcb. The coding resistor is installed from the old board....strange it doesn't display the screen to change DSN..

Changed pcb board...getting f7 invalid device specific number....cant get to the d.093 screen to chsnge it...any ideas why...? I get to the last two instruction but after entering language to English it doesn't display the d.093 screen..

had a gas safe guy look at it...said was the pcb board qouted around £250 supplyt and fit...will see coming tommorow hopefully..

Hi guys - got a vaillant 831 ecotech ...woke up this morning ..boiler was off..display was off....left it unplugged for 10 minutes...then plugged it back in. Didplsy came on..went to wash face turned hot water on and it was cold...boiler went off again, blank display...then left it off again...

Looks like a faulty brake pad wear sensor, took it to local mechanic..pads are all fine, meaty..brake fluid reservoir full...said I need a brake pad sensor but can't seem to find one...

Will have a look...are there sensors on the rear brake pads too?

Hi got a mk 6 golf tdi..the low pad wear sensor light is on the dashboard...had brakes checked...front pads, and rear pads all good ....brake fluid full...why isn't the light going off.. ? I had front pads changed last year...car brakes and stops as it should..any ideas? Ta

Just an update guys...it was the bsttery 100%...even though it was new..took it back to shop ..tested it and wasnt holding charge.. exchanged it..started car today fine..thanks.

I connected battery and then done test straightaway...my boot doesnt open for some reason.. all doors open when I use remote key fob , except boot for some reason..
