Can someone tell me if there was a common size tile around this size, about 20 years old ans where I could get some...

    Spray paint over old paint

Yes pin holes and tiny craters after a top coat had dried. Nothing to do with the mist coat on my opinion. No one has been able to give me an answer. It is indeed a baffling one. Was interested in a spray gun because I will forever do my own painting and the smooth finish is immense. I’m...

    Spray paint over old paint

There were no imperfections after the mist coat at all. The plasterer is also the best plasterer I know and being a plumber, I know a lot. So you would use 1 part paint 6 parts water? I’m pretty sure PVA is a big no no these days and very much old fashioned with old paint.

Ok John, so if you can explain what went wrong with the prep and why I have the situation I have on the ceiling and none id the walls, as I don’t recall you commenting on the original posts. So... the room was boarded and skimmed. 50/50 mist coat on walls and ceiling. Walls dried ok, possibly...

I agree, but sometimes something are surprisingly handy. I won’t be fussed if I can get rid of whatever has happened here and get a normal roll on it.

    Spray paint over old paint

I was only going to get one of the Wagner flexi ones for a couple hundred ? I’m guessing they may be rubbish then? I don’t want something that was new, left with all these imperfections so I’m facing the fact that I either need to get a power sander on it or skim fill with easifill. I can...
