So ive run into abit of a problem its been fine till it's got cold and I needed to get the Christmas Decks down now the boards are packed tight and I can't get some of them back down again.
Any advice? I'm thinking I need to cut the pieces shorter, which are touching the outer wall??
Still got this problem.
Radiator is not coming on if there's an overnight frost.
We've been in the loft and can see some of the pipes but there's no room to work.
Insulation is too big to go around the pipe any ideas?
Thing is on the front of my garage I've bunged up a 1-2" gap that runs all along the garage door, well I've left a gap in the middle to let air in and out plus we've a hole in the brick which was used for the old tumble dryer.
So ive almost finished this now but have a few more questions.
So do I need to cut the boarding shorter so it's not touching the wall (single skin outside wall) which we've had mould growing on? I've painted the boarding and added an anti mould additive as well. The wall I'm talking about in...
Hi all, today we woke up went to put a wash on so flicked the switch and nothing, no lights, panic set in as I last used it sunday with no issues.

We've bought the same ideal standard taps but with a shower attachment.
Upon taking off the panel it's quite tight behind.
Am I going to be able to change the tap?
Is it just going to be a case of using an adjustable spanner and loosening the 2 joints.
Also what tools would be best...
Hi I'm looking for the best way to attach trellis to the existing fence. I've done a little search but most vids just show what to do with the fence posts being higher.
Yes I was hoping to add a new screw and maybe silicone round the bits to stop it rusting. I'm worried about damaging the tiles.
Thank you I'll try some mole grips and heat the screw using my soldering iron. Wait do I heat the screw first? I'm worried the screws going to sheer off.
Hi our showers slide bar has just jumped off the wall
The bottom part is all rusted and I've a horrible feeling this is the remains of the screw stuck in the plug in the wall.
Any idea on how I can get the screw out? I've tried pliers but it's not budging
I don't mind cutting round them just makes the job alot easier if the diagonal pieces weren't there. Yes the boards are going to be screwed down.
Add timber to sister joist?
Theres only going to be Christmas Dec's up there nothing heavy maybe the ladders.
Looking at boarding the garage out to help with storage and possibly adding insulation later on.
My question is can I remove the diagonal piece of wood? So It makes it easier to lay the boarding?
Also what do people do when it comes to filling in the joists? How do you fill the small gaps?
I've looked at a few strips but don't they have to be screwed into the door? I don't fancy doing that as no doubt the company will say it invalidates my warranty.
