Also, with the open PEN fault scenario, does it not mean that the caravan itself should have a TT means of earthing?

This is where I could get more education good sir. I understand the logic and theory of an open PEN fault. So you think I need a separate TT supply for the outside socket?

TNC-S… Yes the socket will be used for a dryer I believe. The socket will be on its own circuit from the DB

I won’t bury it.. I think I can come underneath straight to the fence or a post.. if it was buried I would use SWA like.

There is a fence directly behind I can attach the socket. Think I’ll go through the floor and use sealant and a grommet and come from the DB. Tight to fit SWA like…

Its a static caravan on a holiday park…I’ll have a good look and see if there are tails. Yes they want it fitted on the skirting. I think going through the floor is the best bet and easiest to seal as well.

Loads if spare ways in the DB. So could come out of that and through the floor?

Hi all, I’m an electrician, and I’ve got to fit a outside socket from a static caravan. I’m apprehensive drill through a wall or floor, it’s brand new. Any advice from someone who has done it before on a static? The wiring and install is no issue. TIA

Hi all, Just got a new caravan with a new boiler in.. Ecotec Pro 28, they have installed a time clock in it, but I want a thermostat. Easy enough to change to Hive? Take the time clock out, fit a blank and wire in the Hive receiver? TIA

Hi all, Never build a deck before, but we have just bought a caravan and want a raised deck next to it. There are already paving slabs down so I will probable just fasten it to them. Where do I start ! I want it about a foot off the ground and its only going to be approx 3mtrs x 2mtrs...

Morning all, I had holes in my ceiling plasterboard where cables where pulled in.. it was filled but looks a mess.. needs filling again and sanding back. Any recommendations on the filler to use? Thanks
