hey guys, i have existing copper pipework under the bath and am looking to tap into this and set up pipework for a shower. what are the big advantages over copper? it looks like plastic could be more flexible, but are they equally as reliable? and are there any issues tapping into copper...

shower pipework from existing bath pipes

hey, its a combi, and yes it's likely the 22mm pipework is leftover from tank system as previously there was a tank/cylinder where the boiler is now located.

what screws to use to hold bathroom wall panels in place on tiling

yeah well it turns out the screw method isn't much use, getting it slightly above level is fine, but to get it level just ended up destroying the plastic! i only asked because a lot of the youtube videos recommend screwing the wall panels but i guess the issue is the tiles in my case. thanks...

what screws to use to hold bathroom wall panels in place on tiling

the panels are 8mm pvc, the tongue is just a thin piece of plastic, and the groove needs to fit into that, and yes the screws would have to be small and completely level against the surface of the tongue for the groove to fit

messed up my central heating system

i don't think it's sludged, they're brand new rads and on the occasions i've drained the system, emptied the rads, the water has been completely clean. on the issue of the towel rail, when my central heating was installed, the bathroom rad was installed without a trv, i think installer said...
