    hmmm...2 possible solutions spring to my mind... Have you tried to replace the faulty bulb?? Give it a try, the pins on it could be knackered. or... Remove the downlighter from the ceiling and check for any loose connections in the circuit.

    cheers dude, i suggested to the geezer to spur direct from the mains with a 3A FCU and then to the light, but that wasn't an option. He has access to the boiler supply and thats about all. Thanks for the advice chap. :wink:
