when you say leaking from the pipe. do you mean the grey/white flexible pipe beneath the boiler? not uncommon for these to leak where they are pushed onto plastic condensate pipe. Not a great fit sometimes. Just a cable tie will solve the leak most times. If it leaking from within the boiler...

I install worcester boilers, and they contacted me yesterday to say that one of my 8000 installs needed it's gas valve changing as it was one within the affected range.

There is a problem with the gas valve on some of the 8000 boilers . All owners will be contacted over the next 2 months to replace those affected . Not sure what is the issue with the gas valve. I would get Worcester back if you are unhappy but make sure explain the problem so the engineer solves it

think OP is confused. he only needs to press reset on the boiler ( top left button). He thinks the problem is still with the gas meter!
