We have the shower/bath controls as shown below, top single lever is the shower, bottom two control hot and cold for bath. The temperature of the shower is far too low, and the only way to get warm out is to open the cold bath tap to give the hot a chance. Cylinder temp is 65 to 70...

Just got a Dimplex air con unit for the bedroom, and I cannot seem to find any sort of window venting kit? The hose dangling out of the window leaves a large opening. I have ordinary casement windows, and the vent hose has a squashed plastic end that I assume would fit into a filler or...

Maybe I need to look at a better method of cleaning. Just spent a few hours cleaning with diluted bleach then hot soapy water, and they do look a bit better. Are there special cleaners for rubberised tiles?

For information, airing cuboard really not a good place for the alarm control unit. Battery life 5 years at steady 20 degrees C, reduced to 2 years at 35 degrees (which is what my airing cuboard is) and down to less than 1 year at 40 degrees. Would have thought a professional install like...

Traced the wires around in the loft etc, all likely cables converge above the airing cuboard. Metal box found in the airing cuboard behind hot water tank.......mains spur and a clump of alarm cables going to it. 4 screws holding on the cover.....will there be tamper switches on this? regards
