Thanks spark 123, the surface is level, its mounted to a cavity type box which is sitting very sq in the plasterboard/tile. There is no sign of heat. Its only been installed approx 3 months tops.

Howy1, I had bother with my system going of sporadically, going off at all sorts of times and particulary when the front door bell button was depressed! It proved to be a faulty micro swith inside the bell box, used as a tamper to prevent cover being removed.

Hello, I have a conservatory and the problem I have is that the guttering retains water. There appears to no way to alter the pitch of the guttering, to increase the fall, to allow the water to run a way freely. Is this correct that there is no adjustment? Any help appreciated.

Sorry about the late thank you, but thanks for responding. The line box cant really be moved as the cable is ran under the floorboards which in turn are overlaid with laminate. Anymore advice on how to wire at the point of the door would be appreciated. I would rather not pay BT prices!!
