GRP/Fibreglass. A pain due to the up stands for the Lanterns. Although I think any roofing sytem would have been a pain with them. So far so good, but with any flat roof system only time will tell.

Sealant. GRP roof to aluminium roof lantern

Hi. Not sure if this should be here or in windows and glazing. Any particular/preferred sealant for installing a aluminium roof lantern onto a GRP roof. I'm assuming a good quality frame sealant is what is needed? Cheers.

Maybe if we just knock that wall down.

New foundations went as deep as the existing house. 1.8m if I remember. Think the plot is on a slight slope and there are some large trees in the back garden which may have been the reason.

Thanks. Can't go the glue route as my vapour control layer isn't fixed to the lower deck. Off to Toolstation I go!

    Flat warm roof construction

But the deck does need to fixed somehow. The question was if long screws were the way forward. Cheers.
