Thanks everyone. BS3036 - they look like an exact match. what wattage do you think i should go for? the ones which have blown were very bright (60w?), but i guess they need to be for security..??

ive just removed these from 2 security lights on the side of our house. im told theyre not mainstream. there arnt any markings on them. anyone know what type they are? they measure 4cm in length. thanks
