    Customised Door? Customised Wardrobe?

Yes a little annoying. And the stopcock is amongst them too so a few limitations that I hadn't anticipated!

    Customised Door? Customised Wardrobe?

That would have been the long term plan however because of the layout of the flat, although the water tank has gone, there are still some existing pipes! So even if it was taken out I'm not sure what I would be able to do!

    Customised Door? Customised Wardrobe?

Following a boiler change, I now have the cupboard space to use where the water tank previously was. This is located in my bedroom! I would like to make it more attractive on the outside (as well as inside!). Basically there is a vile door that looks as though the previous owners cut in half...

There are a few posts online saying that these are prone to leak in use from the unit so the chances are its probably the case... Will have to upload a pic when I get back from work. Tried mould cleaner on it but its been left to rot for years by the look of it :-s

    Shower leaking from control unit

Ok. I moved in not so long ago. There is an Aqualisa shower leaking from control unit. I'm guessing it needs a new cartridge. The problem is it looks as though it has been leaking for a while as it is covered in black mould which I can't get off! This is on the control unit by the way...

Residue in kitchen sink after washing machine load.

I believe this has been done. Is it something to be concerned about? I don't mind a bit of dirt being thrown out of the plug hole as long as something worse isnt brewing...

Residue in kitchen sink after washing machine load.

Did my first machine load since new boiler and noticed that residue had been pushed up the kitchen sink which I can only assume is related because the sink was clean before I turned on the washing machine. Is this normal?

Curtain pole, urgent help needed. Going crazy!

Yes sorry should have said about diameter. Smaller poles are more suited to pleated curtains. Eyelets would be a bit odd on a skinny rod. I did see it could be cut but 100 is rather a lot of wastage.

Curtain pole, urgent help needed. Going crazy!

That's a 19mm diameter - too thin for eyelet. Also it's not shiny and comes in 300 length.

Just a quick question... the boiler people put the pipes over existing tiles... it this normal procedure or should the tiles have been removed before installation?
