    Yes flushed rad it was full of crap now running clear. Balanced rads? no how please also was going to turn off as many rads as poss (some fittings very tight) dont fancy forcing them and see if that does anything ta roy

    He told me he was going away even before he changed valve i dont want to slag him off but suppose we live n learn can you reccomend anyone in manchester area to either repair or replace boiler, if bgas have qualifying period not sure if we can wait that long and would they not come and check it...

    Sorry not replied sooner just finished work valve was fitted because original fault boiler turning off but pilot will stay on on its own (he got it to stay on when he tapped the valve) had valve fitted went off a couple of times but thought it may have been too cold (it was off for a week) then...

    Been nice n warm all week but came home tonight gas off at boiler started it up but when it kicks in it looks like the pilot light is being blown out then after about 10secs the main burner goes off might be an optical illusion or is this possible the guy that fitted it is away till next week...
