The bathroom is the next room (although plywood was against bedroom wall and assuming against bathroom) so makes sense I suppose. Cheers.

    Fitting TV stand to plywood

Hi, I have a TV stand to mount to the wall thinking it was just 1 sheet of plasterboard (so was going to use spring toggles) but behind the plasterboard is a sheet of plywood it seems (seems to cover all wall). Am I okay to screw my TV stand straight into plywood? Screws I think are around M5/6...

Bathroom extractor fan - cold air?

Needing to install a bathroom extractor fan due to high levels of condensation, causing mould etc. Will be installing it on the wall, with ducting heading straight out to outside. How much cold air or cold will the bathroom feel, even with the backdraught shutters? Any recommendations? Cheers

Thought as transformer is with terminals it would still be classed as in zones, but guessing I am mistaken. Cheers.

    Mk701 shaver socket

Hi all. I have a MK K701 shaver socket which comes with safety isolating transformer attached to back of facing. Just wondering if this can still be installed within zone 2, as transformer is within facing and not installed outwith zone 2. Thanks

    Cooker switch neon

Have a cooker switch with neon, lights up fine when switch is turned on. However, when turned off at switch, the neon still glows faintly. This neon will only go off completely when I turn the cooker on by the nobs. Switch has worked fine for nearly 3 years so guessing it's just faulty switch...

    Outside light, IP44?

Cheers for replies. So you reckon drilling a hole at the bottom will be fine with IP44? Wouldn't it look unsightly?

    Outside light, IP44?

Fitting an outside light soon, and suggested to customer to go for a higher rating than IP44, due to no shelter covering light. Problem is, can't seem to find much online, all seems to be IP44. Am I being too careful? Have heard of water ingress getting into IP44 before, especially with UK weather.

    Toilet slow refilling

As the title says, old toilet in house which has never properly worked. Takes a long time to refill in the cistern, water just trickles out refilling. Also, not sure if related but when I flush, water doesn't flow all around the bowl, just half. Picture attached of after flushing in cistern.
