Removed toilet to be confronted by this....

Yep the toothbrush was a bonus one less Christmas present... Have had a go at cleaning the pipe up a bit, this is it in its current state, it appears to be metal and have had part of it cut out as you can see in the part nearest the camera. Would this even be compatible with today's fittings?

Window preventing installation of shower cubicle....

Looking to decorate the bathroom and was planning on getting rid of the bath and fitting a shower cubicle however there is a window in the way preventing the fitting of a shower cubicle, I'm a moderate DIYer at best so think rerouting drainage might be a step to far for me. So I'm pretty much...

We have Baxi Solo 2 PF 50 boiler which has an intermittent problem - when the boiler starts for either central heating or water heating the boiler does not fire from cold. The pilot is alight and you can hear it clicking attempting to light but its as if there isn’t enough gas – if I pop...

Grill not heating up fully.. ZHF865X

Just had another look and what actually happens is the element heats up fine and then when the whole thing is starting to glow orange the oven/grill light inside will come on and the light by the switch will go out and the element will stop heating. Then the grill will obviously cool and the...

Grill not heating up fully.. ZHF865X

Yes it sounds similar, turn the dial right for full grill and left for half grill. or vice versa. Cant seem to locate a thermostat for the grill unless it uses an identical one to the bottom oven.

Grill not heating up fully.. ZHF865X

I'm not sure whether it would actually glow however its definitely not heating full, i have tried it on the half grill setting as well and its the same problem. I even forgot about a sausage under there on sunday and was expecting to be hit by a plume of smoke when i opened the door but...

Grill not heating up fully.. ZHF865X

I have a problem with the grill on our Zanussi ZHF865X oven, the element heats up but only partially before the orange thermostat light goes out. I'm guessing its a problem with the thermostat being too sensitive and turning the element off to soon - however its only a guess as im not sure...
