Hi guys, can anyone please recognise the make of the shower tower panel in the pictures. Customer needs a new knob and perhaps a jet, though jets aren’t used. Other bathroom gear is Bristan, but I can’t find this in their catalogue.

Ok thanks. Client obviously has the security code, but doesn’t know the engineers code. I’m assuming we are in for a bit of noise? Or does the security code give me any breathing space.?

Thanks both for your replies. The alarm is working from the keypad upstairs. From that I’d assume pcb ok? Yes, they aren’t too expensive, the keypad! Did it have a tamper device?

Thanks for your reply catlad. I’ve edited post, flies was flues! A standard clay air vent would mean removing bricks. And the bricks don’t line up with the chambers.

hi guys, has anyone had a previously capped chimney stack which required venting? I don’t want to remove bricks as they don’t line up with the flues. I was thinking of either using a core bit to install round vents to each individual flue, or drill out perps install a weep vent. I know the weep...

I used the following utube clip to diagnose. I’m not sure whether my blade spun, but I came to the same problem source without as much visible damage to the ‘flange’ as we call it in the UK.

Thanks for reply, the blade wobbles regardless of load. The only thing that could possibly have caused it is that the blade jammed during an awkward cut. I have checked the ‘rock’ and can’t feel any issue there.

This is the flange required. I can’t see any distortion!

Hi all, been stumped by fitting a rim lock for a customer replacing an old one. The issue is I've fitted the lock but the keep sits to close to the frame for the latch to engage. I have to pad the keep out by about 5mm. The door and frame when shut are flush, and there is no architrave round...

In the end I got a worktop from Howdens. Customer was pleased, though it certainly wasn't a match.
