Well, as a layman, it seems that there is either not enough gas coming through or too much air, and the fact that it works for a long period after everything is cleaned out points to the former.

I have my pc and peripherals plugged into an anti-surge extension lead. I've recently noticed that the green protector light on the extension lead is flickering. Does anyone know if these means it's faulty, or on the way out. Cheers

Just got a Focus Zetec 1.8, but noticed that the engine revs at 70mph are higher than the last car I had which was a 1.6. Can this be right? In the 1.6 (Peugeot 307) I was on 2750, but the Focus at 70 it's pulling 3250. Seems high to me for a 1.8. Any comments would be appreciated

Well the people that used to service the boiler always hoovered the pipe, I'll get the fitter to try that. Logic says that it geting clogged after cleaning has to be the problem. Cheers

Yes, it looks like a new boiler is on the cards. It won't be f****** Baxi-Potterton though. The thing that bugs me most, is that the bleeding thing works for a while after the pilot is cleaned. Thers is just no logic to it at all

Does that mean new boiler? New pipes? Can the pipes be blown through? I'm told that the new boilers don't have pilots, would that make a difference to my current problem?
