    New Radiator advice please.

yes, its hot but the older rads in the house would be hotter to the touch, thats what made me think its not just as hot to touch, because its aluminium.

    New Radiator advice please.

OK, I will try that, the new rad heats up OK but it dosen't warm the bathroom up as much as the old rad I first had in. I was thinking its because this new one is Aluminium.

    Floor Joist Hanging

Thats what I'd do and you might want to drill a pilot hole or two in that joist and add screw fixings to it, watch the joist dosent split on you. Hope that helps :)

    Floor Joist Hanging

Well if it lasted this long :) its not the way it should be supported, don't know if it would work but what about cleaning away the paint from the newel and glue and screw a bit of timber to it, pushed it tight under the trimmer, it would add extra support, only a thought.

    700 x 280 wall tiles.

That will give you an idea, as i said, I'm no tiler, just a joiner doing a bit of tiling for myself :) I decided to use grey 18mm melamine for inside the window reveals and I think, it worked out well, handy for screwing the window blind to, I've a new blind ordered BTW. It just leaves to box...
