    Banshee Sounder 12v?

Hi Guys, Quick question. Does the Banshee sounder operate at 12v? On the screwfix website it states that it can do 9-30v, but all others state only 24v. Would like to connect to a 12v system. Cheers Adam.

    x10 Compatible Alarm Systems

Prior to looking at X10 devices, I was looking to get the Texicom panel. I have just done a search on their website and their installation manuals (previously emailed to me), but I can't find any detail of X10 compatibility. Could you please confirm? Thanks Adam.

Help setting up FTP access using a NAS, Router and Modem.

How/why do you have two routers? Why do you not configure and connect the Belkin Wireless router to your ADSL instead of attempting to pass the data through two?

    Ideal Home Expo

Did anyone else go? On the whole, I was disappointed. We are doing up our house at the moment, and went there to get ideas and information of various things - including new and up-and-coming technology for lighting, insulation, AV, home automation, security etc and there wasn't really a great...

    17ed Wiring Changes

Hi Guys, Just had my council's electrical subcontractor round to get a feel for the rewire I am undertaking and he basically said when the 17ed comes into effect in July (I think), ALL cables (unless 50mm deep in the wall) will have to be protected to the same standard as the existing...

    FLYING LESSONS

Megawatt - thanks for correcting me on those things - most of it was from memory :) The Comments on the Flight Sim. I still think its a good tool - especially for a training pilot. In the first basic instance to see how the plane reacts when controlling it and also getting a grasp of the...

    upgrade problems

I know this might sound bizzare, but connect in an external monitor when performing the install - it could be that the drivers install and incorrectly set the refresh to something other that thr 60Hz default. It could be stopping at a user-input screen when the CD/HD stops.

    FLYING LESSONS

6 months. That is on average about 1 hour every 4 days. I take it your going to give up work to do it then :) When you factor in the weather (low cloud, rain, etc) which means that you will not be able to go up - this is the thing draws it out - not how well your brain copes!

    FLYING LESSONS

I seriously considered taking up flying a couple of years ago before I started doing the house up - spending 10k on lessons or on the house - the house won  . You also have to consider the cost of keeping yourself current (I think its 12hrs/yr). If you do your full PPL you need to fly at...
