Paint, leave natural or render or even dryline
I have just bought a 1850s Sandstone House, we have ripped out all of the old pinboard (old fibreboard) in the living room. With the 4 walls we have one nice one which I am repairing and repointing so would like to leave this natural above the fireplace and and maybe paint the wall next to it...- zacha4

Whether to dry line, add dpc or even just redo lime plaster
We have just moved into a 150 year old cottage, (originally 4 v small cottages) It is made up of solid sandstone walls. In the living room we have gutted it which involved removing all of the very old fibre board which was placed on battening. This has revealed lime plaster on all of the walls...
