just press it the once, dont have to keep messin with it. U cant prog the hot water as it is a combi mate, it is a generic prog ie if you wanted to hook it up to a cylinder to make it a system boiler

yes it can, before u start push schraeder valveto see if any air coming out, if only water coming outexp vessel gubbed and will need replaced. Remember a faulty exp vessel would cause your pressure to rise to around 3 bar with ch on

does your pressure rise a great deal when the ch is on, this would point towards your expansion vessel. however if this is not happening it could probably be your pressure release valve passing water, check outside on blow off pipe coming through wall

it is allowable for the copper gas pipe to be open to atmosphere as long as it is not near a corrosive area, near the seaside etc. Boiler also far too close too combustible materials, if no signs of scorching to cupboards or boiler this is usually regarded as not to current standards. Job...

i use a cheap foot pump for car tyres out of halfords, done me well

fitting one of these next week, never worked much on these boilers and it looks like a nightmare. Does the gas valve need to come off to get to this and if anybody has changed one before let me know any handy hints /tips. A link to the instructions would also prove helpful, cheers.

is pressure rising sharply when heating is on, if so its the expansion vessel, plenty links on this site how to fix. If not ,to determine properly where leak is shut off flow and return to boiler for a day or so and monitor pressure, if no loss during this time leak is on pipework. Only problem...
