What the gc number for the boiler? Sometimes the fitler just sits on the return valve and doesnt have a part number as its part of the valve.

    Worcester 28i RSF Problem

Vid doesnt work for me? Sound like from what you say it is having a problem getting rid of the heat when its running the heating, so flow filter could be one to check so to if there is dirt in there.

have bled radiators: still only hot @ bottom but cold @ top

^^^ Agree If you dont get air out, the air point can be blocked with dirt (which as you state you have a 3 storey house, you mean it a pretty new build, so dirt will be a factor). You must get water out of the top to ensure the radiator is full of water.

Has it still got is 1st edition pcb on? (the pcb status light will only have 2 colours red/green) If so 99% of the time its the pcb imo when the gas valve fails it normally wont reset, a gas safe engineer can check the resistances on the gas valve to check if they are in range. I would...

    Rad keeps going cold

You say you had the system flushed when the boiler was installed, doesn't mean blockages wont form after a while. You need to get the system fully balanced, simple.

Getting the right size wood burner.

Thanks for that info mate. I have used online calculators and they have come out at 7kw. The room is 9mtrs long, 6mtrs wide for 6mtrs of the length then 3mtrs wide for the other 3 mtrs on length. About 45 sq mtrs room is standard 2.4 mtrs high. 108m3 x 0.02 = 2.16 x 50% = 4.32?

    Kitchen layout

Yeah i know what your saying always come up that triangle hence why i was going to add sink or hob to the island, or would be hob and sink on same side then prep area on island.

    Kitchen layout

Im planning my kitchen area of my build. I cant decide if the island in the middle would look best with the sink or hob/oven fitted in it. Only thing with hob in middle is extractor hanging in middle then running the pipework to outside. What you think?
