    I am about to fit a new bathroom sink, and have a question concerning fitting the sink waste, should i use some silicon (or fs-x) to seal the waste to the bottom of the sink, or will the locking nut underneath the sink be sufficient, would hate it to leak from the plug after fitting everything

    I am intending to build a Long pergola, which will have 20 4"x4" post, 10 on each side. The cost of normal 9ft posts is fine, but if u want a slot cut in the top they appear to be about £10 dearer, so for 20 posts it adds up. Is there a simple way of cutting accurately the slots in the posts.
