    maybe but even if it is temporary the bottles have almost been squashed flat by the weight, surely there must of been some thing more solid knocking about. As an engineer myself there are some things you don't do no matter how temporary, but everyone has different standards.

    Copper pipes in solid wall

    Thats what I did and have had no problems. Like you say as long as nothing corrosive ie:plaster comes into contact with the pipes, I presume you're using copper, you should be fine.

    maybe but the pipe goes vertical to the cold water loft tank and is bent downwards and directed into the cold tank and before the bend sits the valve.One thought I had it might be used to aid filling hot water tank and once filled the valve is closed.

    28mm it is then as at some point 2 showers will be supplied. All plumbers merchants and b&q near me are very expensive so do most of my shopping online usually with screwfix and sometimes toolstation when they do what I want as a single item.

    Thinking of adding a second thermostatic shower as the instructions that came with 1.5bar pump said it can run 2 showers. The run to the second shower will be 10m what size pipe should I use for this length of run, the instructions that came with pump don't say anything.
