Hi, Has anyone had trouble threading a Surrey Flange onto the cylinder because the copper down tube is too far over to allow the thread to start? If so, how did they get around the problem? Many thanks

So rather than a pressure equalizing valve on both hot and cold, just a pressure reducing valve on the cold main, would this valve be for shower only or all outlets! Can you adjust exactly to a specific bar pressure then? The only reason I am with the 3 bar is that is unused and did not cost...

Not sure if 50 gallon is nominal or actual (about 2" x 2" x 4" oblong). Have not purchased the shower yet but assume it would have to be a high pressure one, also a pressure equalizing valve before the shower is recommended, apart from a seperate pressure equalizing valve can you get them...

No problem It' just an economy 7 Hot (vented) Cylinder, 2 x immersion and twice the thickness insulation !

Are you that slow? You have been no help at all so far, if you cannot get down off your pedestal as a plumber with others not quite so qualified as yourself, then do not bother answering posts with clever comments! We all know by now that the hot cylinder is being fed via cold storage tank...

So Agile, would you think that 28mm supply would be sufficient, it is only a small 1 bedroom flat, 1 sink, 1 basin and 1 shower to be pumped on the hot side with the cold being mains! Thanks

It is a new Gledhill E7 cylinder 1" female for hot out!

I can confirm that the connection on the cylinder is 1" male, needing a female connector, preferably on a 90 degree elbow/bend to save space.

The pump is a 3 bar, I assume from your reply that you would go for the 28mm!

Yes, hot from tank and cold from mains, not much head on cold tank (a little though), will be pumping hot to shower, kitchen sink and hand basin! Thanks

Hi, Trying to find out this, if recommended a Monsoon 2 bar single negative pump for my system by Stuart Turner, would there be a down side if I were to use a Monsoon 3 bar single negative pump. I assume that the flow rate would be the same for both! What would be the difference apart...
