    Wi-Fi Extender sockets

I purchased one of these years ago. BG? It seemed to be slow, (N300) so I disabled it over 2 years ago. Just tried to re-enable it by pressing the button 3 times and it appears dead. I just wondered if there were any recommendations for other USB extender sockets, or should I just replace it...

    Question on sub-distribution boards

Is there currently an RCD protecting the garage supply in the house? As that will trip if you have a fault in the shed. It could get annoying. having to reset a house RCD, goto the garage and reset RCD, and then back to the shed. Only to find out it trips again. That could get really annoying...

I don't think that is the case. Gas SC is lower. When the small energy firms went bust a few years back, the Electric SC was increased, Thus Gas users and non Gas users would pay the same amount to compensate. Gas SC is about 30p/day for my region

    Cost of running dishwasher

Having insulation can be annoying, as said. You start drawing the water. It gets warm. So you put the plug in expecting some hot water to follow shortly after, however all you get is a sink full of luke warm water, and have to empty it, and start again.

    Another ring main extension question

why don't you put the junction (or socket or blank) above the cupboard. You won't see it. A socket May even be useful for extractor fan or lights. But a double blank is easier to make 6 joints Maybe use Wagos
