Well that's a result ! I emailed my concerns to the company and asked them to knock half off the plastering bill . They replied today and have refunded me the full amount . Happy days .

Thanks for replies , folks . It's given me a few ideas . One option I'm thinking of is that because it doesn't matter what the panels look like from the back , I could shorten the width to get them between the posts and then add extra supports on the back , once in place. Any thoughts?

I think you're probably right. I should have called them back but tried to fix it to move the job on ! To be fair , I've used them a few times and their aftercare is usually good . I've asked for a discount , so we'll see what happens. I just have the feeling that the project manager is trying...

No , it's a single socket . I have a 4 gang extension plugged into it via an RCD . The 4 appliances mentioned in my original post are plugged into it.

There is a fused switch attached for the light , but there are no other fuses on the cable . I just had a look at the dryer label and it uses 2200w . Yes , I could make sure they`re not run together , but might be better if I can route the heater to another socket , perhaps ?

These appliances are housed in the garage and are plugged into this socket . Sorry for the confusion .
