    Chagos Islands, a solution?

That's exactly what Reform UK suggested yesterday in the House of Commons.

    The Tates flee again.

The Tates apparently have US citizenship so there is no way they will return to Romania voluntarily to face justice.

    EU squares up to US

Be careful for which you wish for. If in the next 3yrs the price of a US gallon to their consumer goes down and the locals feel a positive change to their cost of living, Don's side kick Vallance will be up for it at the next election. The yanks will not worry about the troubles of UK/EU.

    Reform net zero hypocrisy

I have Centrica shares but source my gas/elec from Octopus Energy. Does that make me a hypocrite?

    Roof Moss

Hi All I've just jet washed my roof and now have a wheelbarrow of moss. No chemicals used, just blasted with water. Any benefits for the garden or should I just dump it? Probably also includes fine particles of my clay roof tiles. Cheers Doug

    Labour thug jailed.

He may have got away with the single punch as a self defence reaction, but it was the multiple punches whilst the chap was on the floor which did it for him. Silly man.

Extend my fridge warranty (?) (Ed.)

There is also a disposal charge for old fridges due to legislation now mandating the recycle of its gas. Scrap merchants not interested for that reason.

    Slow emergency services responce

All exits amazingly blocked and nobody could get in/out?.......hmmmmmm.....the expert soap 'advisers' were probably biting their tongues seeing the 'literal licence' being applied to drag out the storyline.

Home insurance and self door closers loft

One of the assumptions made by my house insurer on renewal states "House is maintained". An easy get out clause by them to refuse payment if house burns down and doors are found to be not working correctly or defective.

    Tree Dust

Hi All My eucalyptus tree has been felled and stump ground out. I now have a large pile of eucalyptus tree 'dust'.....too small/fine to be considered as chippings. Can it be put to any use in the garden? Cheers Doug

    Starmer's nuclear plan

The UK has been commissioning small/compact nuclear reactors for decades (RN Submarines). The commissioning of civil reactors is a natural step towards a carbon free national grid.

    Not justified my a55

I wonder how this is going down with the Omagh bombing victims who have had to recently relive the incident.

    Masking Film

Hi All When painting my house exterior I intend to mask up my doors and windows. I have noticed online masking film which has been "pre taped". How does this work? I assume when I cut it to length, the sides will be taped so will need my own tape to seal top/bottom? The rolls seen are 25m x...

    One brave journalist.

The press conference was apparently televised live. It would be interesting to know whether Steve's questions and the responses were fully transmitted.

All the survey will say is "Unable to comment on possible structural damage as wall is rendered and brickwork is inaccessible.":evil:

Nigel Farage admits his election promises were bogus

Basically, Farage has stated what he NEEDS to do to turn this country around and as we approach the next general election, he will be saying HOW he will do it. A no brainer........move on!

    Peace has broken out.

It will only take some breakaway militant to lob a couple of rockets into Israel to kick it all off again.

    Pliolite Paint Application

Hi All I am about to paint my external walls using pliolite paint. This is the first time I have used this type of paint and notice it is quite thick compared to water based paints. The concern I have is the use of rollers. My walls are previously painted pebbledash and aiming to use a long...
