All of a sudden my toilet has been making this horrendous groaning noise after its been flushed, like a grinding moan, its pretty loud and it needs stopped. What could this be ?

Ive put some photos in my album, if you can see them.... There is a Central Heating switch next to the boiler and another switch over by the cooker, these have both been on since Feb when we moved in.

I have a standard hot water tank system which every now and again keeps making a mis-firing sound, to try to make an example of the sound - it sounds like 6 or 7 attempts to light a ring on a gas hub, like its trying to kick in then eventually it does, but I dont know why, the water is on timer...

Is it a bad idea to tackle glossing ? I have a room that needs 3 doors and all the facings glossed white, but I've been advised that its more trouble than its worth.....how hard can it be ? I can handle normal emulsion okay.

Just moved in and have a bit of work to do, anyone know whats wrong with the grass ? I've got a dog but he does his widdles up by a tree. Havent a clue what to put on it. Decking needs reviving but not sure if it needs modifying at all. Any ideas ?

How can I tell this ?

Just moved into a 10 year old house and the hot water tank is making a constant buzzing rumbling sound, like its a car ticking over. Is this normal ? Its a standard heating system, not a combi.
