Dan could you offer a rough cost for changing the boiler? I would be tempted with a Combi Boiler, if you wouldnt want to offer any kind of price could you suggest a combi boiler which would do what I wanted? Thanks

I may have asked it donky's ago as it was a plan, but we're talking maybe 4 years? I asked a BG engineer when he serviced the boiler and he said no, (about 4 years ago) I assume its not a diy job and needs to be signed off?

We're looking at having a conservatory built and the most practical place would be obstructed by the boiler flu, can boiler flu's be vented through the roof of a conservatory?

Thanks, I'll intend to leave a small walk way which wont be insulated (to get to water tank etc) and will have to raise the boarding or fit some shelves on the party wall. Apparently we have 3 inches of insulation and should have 12

Had someone round earlier today regarding loft insulation, we need to get additional insulation but the whole loft is boarded, what happens here do I need to lift all the boarding in order to lay the insulation underneath it? Their documentation states insulation can be laid over the boarded...

Thanks, the house was built in the 1950's so would that make any difference to your expectations of the size? Not sure if the depth is as much as 450mm as the side of the breast is just 320mm, my virgin is 290mm deep but if I had 450mm the surround sound could fit there as well :D

Surely your annual assessment doesnt involve proving you know how to test though more like this is what I installed and here is the certificate with some sample Zs to show the results are not made up? You've proved you know how to test from the previous assessment?

full scope! Yes I have 2391, I believe (to a certain degree) you can judge someones competence by talking to them. We spent a couple of hours discussing regs and paperwork etc, had a few questions to answer and I obviously demonstrated I knew what I was talking about
