Repairing a white brick effect wall tile

I use a blunt blade on the multi tool to rake out the grout then chop out the broken tile to renew it. You could just chip out the broken bit and fill the hole with grout-depends on how fussy you are....

That shouldn't have holed a pipe......

Mementos of jobs are something I tend to keep like jigs and tools Ive constructed that have absolutely no further purpose and the small piece of fence wire that was surgically removed from my leg when the brushcutter found it hiding.

the trade war heats up: China stops exports of gallium, germanium, antimony, graphite, and tungsten to USA

If you had to sit through the the "dignity at work" training videos youd be a little less disparaging

As well as saving manhours and printing costs changing paper labelling ,the electronic labels give the retailer the capacity to adjust prices dynamically according to footfall at a given part of the day- if they wanted to. How this would sit with trading law is another matter if the price...

the trade war heats up: China stops exports of gallium, germanium, antimony, graphite, and tungsten to USA

Being disciplined at work for refusing to refer to a fruitcake as "they" rather than "her". Try it sometime-its real.

I had the 'pleasure' of using the EVRI parcel self serve machine in tescos Express the other day. My god It is really intuitive if you're 15 but not so great when you are on the final few furlongs. When I finally managed to get it to even attempt to scan the qr code (it wouldn't) the queue...

I welcome any leader cracking down on wokism and benefits handouts. But otherwise they all need their heads banging together.

There are more videos of complete battery rebuilds Inside the yellow casing is a bundle of cylindrical l-ion batteries which are available to buy. But once you add your time and trouble to the expense its better to just buy a new dewalt unit. Flashing batteries can restore them but its very...

    Just not my day!

Early jap bikes had the smaller fastners made from monkey faeces To make it worse they had phillips heads. But they weren't actually phillips they were JIS type which virtually no one in Europe knew about so blindly used the wrong tools.

    Just not my day!

Theres a cast lug instead of a hexagon on the DV6 engines that gets a bit "slippery" after a few goes.. It also disappears under the engine mount if it comes unpinned during the cambelt replacing,so you have to take it all back apart again to find the tensioner lug.

    Imitation cordless drill batteries

I bought some imitation dewalt 7.2v many many years ago The claimed 3ah seemed a bit optimistic and proved so. They lasted a few months before being completely worn out. The price of a cordless tool is heavily influenced by the quality of the battery so its not a stretch to say you only get what...

The AH rating is the working time between charges so find the best for your available money. Dont be afraid to look beyond Screwfix etc as there are often better deals to be found. The Flexvolt variety can give more AH but not on 18v tools

    Need A Multitool...

I got my CEL cordless well over 15 years ago after seeing it on Dragons Den. It was only supposed to be to do one awkward job but it has proved invaluable so many times since then. Its the sort of tool that will pay for itself so the price isnt such an issue. My advice would be the dewalt as you...
