    whats your issue with the drainage. You only need to stop the drive draining to the highway to alleviate the need for planning permission. Most of the permeable systems are expensive

    good luck, most decks we try and take up that are usually screwed down, are a pain to take up and youre lucky if you can get the screws out. They normally cam out or snap

    sub-base of mot type1 then lay the slabs on a wet bed of mortar, in the same way you would lay bricks.

    no problem with 400 centres. definetly 6 x 2, sturdier and less posts needed. picture look s ok but too small to get all the detail

    if its just to cover an area then yes, but i wouldnt use it to place gravel etc on

    Advise to construct wooden fence on top wall

    if you can dig into the ground at the base of the wall and concrete the base of the posts in that will add a lot to the stability. Personally i dont like coach bolts as they never seem to hold that well. Youd be much better using rawl bolts and adding some resin fixing into each hole as well.

    thats the difference. If youre not doing much with them, then i can see the logic, we use ours virtually every day, so it needs to last. Mind you i think some of you need to look at your hire prices. People we use offered us one on long term hire for 50 a month

    as it stands at the moment in my position i dont see it as too bad (backed up by my wifes view whose an accountant!) The tax threshold going up, the freeze in council tax etc. DOnt really see a big problem with the vat. It will add 250 to a 10 grand project, is someone going to pull the plug on...
