    Media Setup

Yeah, sorry your right, that should do it, are there any nice faceplates to add to the end of the trunking, rather than leaving it an open hole?

    Mozilla vs Internet Explorer

I think one of the biggest reasons is (or maybe was) security. IE was renowned for having more security holes than a sieve. Firefox is a very robust browser and much harder to corrupt (spyware, keyloggers etc.) With the newer version of IE they seem to have addressed most of the issues, but ive...

    Help with Windows XP

Hi Graham My immediate thought would be some kind of spyware, alot of these use mulitple 'load' codes to bring up multiple instances of the same page. WHat have you got in regard to virus and spyware checkers? J

    disk cleanup question

Jambo With disk cleanup your fairly safe to use most of the options. You can happily remove temp internet files, temporary files, recycle bin etc. It wont delete anything your pc needs to run. J

Clay Pipe Removal - Replace with a smaller diameter?

noseall Thats great, I hadnt even considered the internal dimension, that makes a lot more sense. There seems to be a real cost saving too with the 110mm pipe and fittings. I have seen the clay pipe attachments and have decided to use the jubilee clip style fitting, seems a strong solution...

    Roofing Options

Thanks diy. I would increase the pitch, but the current roof pitches just under the main roof of the house, so thats not an option. I also note theres currently no flashing at all, so I think this should be the first issue to address. I would say im a reasonable DIYer, but roofs are a bit new to...
