Hi Gregers and Dave 1953, Thanks for your help - I have received a letter informing me it will be safe to re-enter the building after 8 hrs. However, I am having to remove the insulation .... I've done over a quarter already, bagged it and dumped it as it was quite disgusting in places...

Just updating you on the low thresholds. I have insisted on what I ordered from the double glazing company and they are now listening!!! I'm much happier now as I am getting what I requested! :D

I am having PVC double glazing fitted at mo. The windows are brill! The back door brill! But the french doors leading to a conservatory has an additional sill (which I didn't ask for - but it covers a cavity where a wall was removed) and a high 4" threshold when I asked for a low threshold...
