    Pyronix Enforcer deltabell query

The 6 core alarm wire I'm using is thinner (each core) than the wires from the batteries and the wires to the siren..... should it be thicker wires between the Enforcer panel and the deltabell?. I just assumed alarm wire was universal .Have I been stupid?

    Pyronix Enforcer deltabell query

I ve managed to run a 6 core alarm wire between the two so was just going to go off the IO board in the Enforcer to the terminals in the deltabell WE . It's a bit confusing that they have supplied resistors etc. Which I can't see that I need. Thanks for the help. Wanna buy a lightbox? I

    Pyronix Enforcer deltabell query

Ok thanks - I ll see if I can return it. With respect to the wireless deltabell, if I wire it to the Enforcer , will it prolong battery life or am I wasting my time? I didn't want to have to change the deltabell battery a lot. If I do wire it should I just do the power eg. 12v.? Thanks again .

    Pyronix Enforcer deltabell query

Hi. I bought a pyronix Enforcer Kit 3 which comes with a deltabell module. I also bought a deltabell x lightbox. So I don't flatten the battery in the deltabell prematurely I was going to wire it to the Enforcer panel power supply off the Io board. Will this work? Do I need to wire in tamper...

Pyronix Enforcer. Controlling Automated Garage Door

Hi. I'm self installing a Pyronix Enforcer and have got the alarm panel mounted and most of the Pirs, door contacts etc mounted and working successfully. My house has an existing automated garage door with keyfobs, I'd like to program a pyronix fob to control it instead. Does anyone know how to...

    Skirting on UFH porcelain tiles

Advice on how to mount MDF skirting on a porcelain UFH floor. Originally I was just going to fix skirting to the wall (no more nails and screws where required) and rest the MDF on floor. Wondering if I should space the skirting off the floor tiles by 2mm so its a)easier to paint without...

    internal wall insulation

Ok thanks for the advice. I'm going to try the warm batten method referred to here with no air gap behind. http://www.superhomes.org.uk/resources/internal-wall-insulation-1/ And leave the underfloor as discussed. If it works ok I'll use it for the other upstairs rooms.

    internal wall insulation

Thanks for the help so far. I think the builder was used to doing cellars and has used the same approach . I.e keep away from the wall and allow air to circulate behind the insulation. Inan upstairs room it didn't seem appropriate. Any way I didn't want to spend time complaining about him.in...

    internal wall insulation

I think on the other side of the beam will be the cavity that's under the lead flashing and whatever board that supports it.. The 75mm gap is the gap between the plaster and the rear face of the insulation. I guess it's there to ensure there are no damp problems behind the insulation. I...

    internal wall insulation

Hello, i'd like to fit internal wall insulation to one of the bedrooms in my victorian semi. I plan to install it throughout the house as i do up each room. A builder did two rooms already (as part of a wall/chimney removal) and he did it with metal studwork, kingspan and plaster board. He...

What's the right spec for relaying my slab for wet UFH

Thanks for the advice so far. Time to get on with it. One last question . I need an internal stud wall as well in the same area. Do I install this on top of the UFH screed. ( Having laid the pipes to avoid the fixings) Sorry if it's a daft question.

What's the right spec for relaying my slab for wet UFH

Thanks for the reply. Is there a typical spec for the insulation? Is there any special detailing at the edges of the room where the insulation &dpc meet the wall?

What's the right spec for relaying my slab for wet UFH

In our Victorian semi the back of the house has a solid floor. It's about 50m sq over 3 rooms. I want to fit under floor heating and i'm dubious about the overlay systems on offer because of the thinness of the insulation. I've been advised that to do it properly I should dig out the floor slab...
