OK so its fixed. I didn't need to take the trap off in the end - the leak was coming from the outlet (as Hugh Jaleak mentioned) - it hadn't been tightened and was really loose. So an easy fix. Just got to patch up the kitchen ceiling now.

Yes there's a toilet on there and the 3 smaller pipes are bath, shower, basin. I think that re. the fall on the pipe on the left, that is just due to the angle of the picture - it does have a fall on it Cheers
