how would you start to determine sizing of equipment at intake ie: size of main fuse, meter tails main earth never had opportunity to look into this and im puzzled

got a timed fan, and ran 3core from rose to triple pole isolator anto fan and everything fine but instructions say fuse down to 3a, as i have a live and switched live where do i put the fcu in the circuit?

got a little confused, the guide to building regs said that240v extractor was allowed in zone 1 if ipx4? instructions say needs fcu at 3amp, where would this go into the circuit?

zone 1 and its ipx4 is that allowed or would it need to be selv? switch above door is on inside of room outside zones is this ok?

thats excellent info you obviously knowledgeable and so to continue: now read in hob instructions no diversity allowed on appliance, which must be wired in 2.5 as the mcb is 40a and cable is 6mm (def i checked today) then this circuit is no good for the hob as 2.5 is rated too low for mcb...

if installing a oven and seperate hob can you apply diversity to them as one cooking item 4.3kw oven and 5.8kw hob can these be run in one circuit from 40a mcb in 6mm to ccu then feeds to oven/ hob hob says wiring to be 2.5 from hob unsure on how this can be (confused)

sorry yes is it because of cooker diversity? just applied it and came out at about 30a
