    Boss leaking :(

Thanks for the quick replies guys... if I can get it apart are the parts recoverable? Is solvent weld filler something I can put on now with the pieces in place? Now that you’ve mentioned 57mm holesaw my gut is saying the holes not big enough and it’s not sealed properly because of it... dam..

So, here are some pictures showing the adaptor too small to fit on the outside of the inlet, and then the adaptor pushed into the inside of the inlet but no chance ‘I think’ of a 32mm pipe fitting through.... any advice?? Have I got the wrong pieces?

    Boss connector - confused

Hi all Yesterday I bought a Floplast strap boss and 32mm adaptor to fit a waste pipe into my soil pipe. The issue I have got is that the rubber adaptor is to small to fit in the outer edge of the opening, and when I fit it into the opening where it fits into the soil pipe, the 32mm pipe won’t...

Would that result in the toilet coming out and away from the wall to turn into the front of that fitting though?

    Bathroom waste setup

Sorry to re-ignite this post... i'm just getting the parts together to do the soil stack. Ive looked at various boss setups and because I need waste pipes to enter from both sides I think the best way is to use the current design again with new pipes and boss the wastes in with strap on bosses...

    Pop up plug... I’m stumped

Hi all So, I’m stumped... I’m putting together my basin and mixer tap... I’ve come to put the pop up plug together and can not see how the bar will connect to the plug itself to pull it down to seal. I’m able to make it pop the plug up but it won’t pull it back down.. ive taken a picture of the...

    Bathroom waste setup

Sorry to bring this up again... easier to ask than scratch my head in Wickes looking at different pieces..... the black downpipes and hopper seem to be held together at the joints by nothing more than gravity. I think they are plastic weld fittings (dont know if thats the right technical term...

Thanks for your answers as always guys.. Hugh, I think as I’m doing it I’d rather do it properly, and from your suggestion about using both runs still I can even do one at a time and get it done right..

Sorry to keep coming back for advice.... the wall shown in the pictures where I’m digging is the kitchen.. which is where we noticed the damp... it’s been mentioned to look at the water supply also just in case this is also an issue - my internal stop tap is - low and behold - in the kitchen...
