    Gas pipe question?

Chris, it is possible to continue the 22mm run all the way to the boiler with minimal work just a T off the 22mm pipe for the hob should be needed. Just wondered if this long run and hob running off it would be the reason for the plumbers saying I needed a new 22mm pipe from the gas box. God...

    Gas pipe question?

Ok why didnt you saywhat you needed :D It will probably be a greenstar 18Ri. The gas pipe as said is 22mm from front of house to kitchen under hob about ~7meters with 3 bends at most. I would then require the pipe to be extended about 4meters with a further 4 bends. Hope this is enough...

Its an open vented system. It is about 20 years old but the boiler is starting to make a kettling noise when heating so was going to try and give the system a general crean out. Any suggestions???????? :(

Giving plumbers a bad name and scarry stuff!!!!!!!

Its just interesting to see that even largish companies in the yellow pages rip you off not just the bodgit man. On the bright side it makes the dodgy ones think twice about stretching jobs out and lying about what they do. As you say there is a small number but realistically unless you know...

Giving plumbers a bad name and scarry stuff!!!!!!!

Did anyone see the rogue trader program last night? Its got to be said the plumbers on there were the ones who give you lot a bad reputation and makes us customers annoyed at what they get away with. It was classic, they set a tap up with a damaged washer and called the plumber. It should have...
