Just wondering if some knowledgable person can give me some advice on a friends house.
The house recently had a heating leak which meant water coming down by a light in the hall way and buggering the ceiling up!
Ever since this the bulbs keep blowing every now and then, has anyone got any suggestions as to the reason for this?? :? :?

It's likely to be sheer coincidence.

But, to be on the safe side, isolate the power and inspect the lampholders. A good clean up and a check of connections might help. Failing that, buy better quality lamps.

Did you buy a super bulk pack of "bettabuy" 60w lamps? Serves you right then

Should have bought Co-op. NOT....
No, dont do that. we stack shelves violently. When a box of lamps gets dropped, we just put it back on the shelf. Sod the customer, its only a lightbulb. 8) (only joking by the way)
