Hi I have an old metal fence and handrail going up my outside steps, so in the past I would have cleaned it up and red lead it then gloss it, but was thinking of just cleaning it and spraying a hammerite type paint straight on the bare metal. Opinions please ? Thanks

Hi I have an ideal logic ESP1 30 with weather compensation fitted with a non smart programable room stat salus rt510tx and I am looking for a smart thermostat to switch on if I am out currently looking at a nest gen 3

Can I ask instead of a new thread, any problems just using 3 & e for the future, so I don’t need to run cables if it’s ever changed in the future? Thanks

No not running through any cavity a single brick wall with plasterboard on both sides this divides a hall and a walk in kitchen cupboard that isn’t used anymore (large American fridge in front blocking it off), so as far as I know this is 12v from the boiler link(wiring centre) to the remote unit
