    Thanks for all replies this helps I think I can go in 50mm as the external course is yorkshire stone. I was thinking of attaching the sill on top of a line of DPC then 5-1 sand and cement bed and no need for glue, is that ok?

    Hi lads I have my concrete slab done now and the visqueen is going up the outside skin about 2 feet is this ok to leave in the cavity against the outside skin or should I trim it? I will then add the insulation up to the visqueen and inside skin. Thanks

    Really daft question so sorry about this, I bought some knauf cavity slabs 100mm, you can compress it easy so I can get it into a 50mm cavity, is that ok to do that? I mean compress to fir in a smaller cavity as to what its says which is for a 100mm cavity? Just means more compressed.
